3M Car care to enter in Indian used car segment

3M Car Care a well known company in the car care segment is all set to enter in the segment of India. The company deals in selling car care products. Though 3M car care currently entering in the car care segment partially but it is expected that the company will enter fully in the market by the starting of the 2011. “We are looking at standalone car care centres in India. At the moment, we are doing a feasibility study and testing the idea, said. 3M has about 500 car-care centres in China, besides a few in Brazil,” said Ninad Gadgil, division manager, Car Care, 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division. Besides this the 3M also launched a new Service in India named as ‘Dry Interior Car detailing services’ in which company provides a foaming car interior enrichment treatment in addition with Aqua DM technology. The Aqua DM technology is basically helps in cleaning dirt from the roof, carpet and seats. With cleaning dirt the technology also helps in cleaning small areas like headrests, steering wheel, boot, Front and rear wind screen and windows. AC vents, door handles, sun visors, pedals, side of doors and the seat belts are also included in this cleaning.
