If you are planning to buy a new car this year than the festive season around the corner is sure going to bring a lot of choices for you. We're about to tell you the eight new cars which will be there on the Indian roads in the coming 2 months.
The first one on the list of such dream machines is Maruti Kizashi. The model is expected to be launched in November 2010 with the price tag of Rs 18 lakh. Maruti Kizashi means 'coming up of something great'. This goes well with the aspiration of the company which intends to introduce itself in the sedan segment. The model is expected to give a tough competition to products like Volkwagon Passat. Kizashi will be smaller than Toyota Camry or Honda Accord with its 183-inch length and 7.2-inch width along with a 107-inch long wheel-base.
The next name that hits this list of upcoming new cars in India in the next two months is the Volvo XC60 which is expected to be launched in November 2010. The estimated cost of this product is INR 38 - 45 lakh. With the launch of this product, Volvo will mark its foray in compact luxury SUV segment. Imported as a CBU, this product may have either a 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine or a 3.2-liter petrol-powered AWD or both.
Hyundai Avante is expected to be introduced in December 2010 with an expected price of Rs 11 lakh. It is expected that the model will be available in both petrol and diesel options. The petrol version will have a 1591cc DOHC CVVT engine while the diesel version will have a 1582cc CRDi engine. The new Hyundai Avante will compete with models like Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla, Chevrolet Optra and Honda Civic.
Another impressive model which will hit the Indian roads is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X which will be available in December 2010 along with the estimated price of Rs 45-50 lakh. It will be powered by 4B11T 2.0 liter engine. Nissan Sunny is also expected to be launched during December 2010. The estimated price of this model is Rs 700,000. It is to be mentioned here that Nissan Sunny was introduced in 1966 as Datsun 1000. It is still in production and is known as Nissan Sentra in US.
Next in queue is Toyota Etios which will be available with the price range between Rs 450,000 - Rs 700,000. The model is expected to incorporate power windows, power steering, remote central locking and several other interesting features. The high end models of this car will have ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) as well as EBD (Electronic Brake).
