All new Hyundai Avante premiered worldwide

Hyundai, the Korea based leading car maker has unveiled its all new Hyundai Avante model through a world premier. The new Avante model is known as Elantra in the foreign markets of the company, where the model is among the best selling cars of Hyundai.

The new Hyundai Avante has been designed with sportier and even more elegant lines as compare to its predecessor, with maintaining Hyundai’s design philosophy of ‘fluidic sculpture’. The new Avante has an eye-catching road presence, with an array of new generation features, including HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps, LED combination lamps in the rear, heated rear seats, puddle lamps and a color TFT LCD information display nestled in the gauge cluster, makes it outstanding among the other compact sedans of this range.

The new Hyundai Avante will be powered with company's latest 1.6L Gamma Gasoline Direct Injection engine, with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This is the first time a GDI and six-speed automatic have been provided in a compact sedan in Korea. The new model is capable of delivering a maximum power of 140ps along with a maximum torque of 17.0kg·m. The combination of new GDI and six speed automatic transmission, works in tandem to enhance its fuel economy by more than 10 %, as compare to the other cars of this segment.

Hyundai has managed to sell more than 6 million units of Elantra (Avante) worldwide, since its launch in year 1990. the company will start selling the all-new Avante in the second half of this year in its domestic market Korea.
