Hyundai BA speculated to launch after Hyundai HA

Recently we heard the news of Hyundai taking test drives of Hyundai HA 800cc small car near Chennai. The car is a straight competition to yet market leader, Maruti Alto. The Hyundai HA launch is expected in the later months of running year. The Hyundai HA is expected to come with designing of Hyundai Santro platform with a stunning price tag of Rs 2 Lakh. And now from Hyundai’s stable we have another sensational news where the launch of another compact car, Hyundai BA.

In the year 2013 the launch of next generation Hyundai i10 with diesel engine is awaited and at the same time the company is speculated to introduce Hyundai BA. So it might be possible that both the models are one and the same. The remarkable success marked by the Hyundai i10 has registered a long term existence of the car in Indian auto market. The similar extended life of Hyundai Santro is also due to same stand out performance in India. So if the product is doing well in mark Hyundai will not replace it and in that case launch of Hyundai HA may loose its customers as the models will compete each other in market.

Hyundai Motors have to look forward towards a compact car which can come in competition with the like of Chevrolet Beat and Renault Twingo. The car should give a good competition in terms of the styling and price tag as well. The concept of upcoming Hyundai BA should lie around the concept of a city car. The major features in a smart city car is a reduced turning radius, good pickup, better visibility with large glass surfaces and great fuel economy. Moreover the company can come up with lucrative engine options like sub 1-liter petrol engine to diesel and electric locomotion.
