The new Avante, as per the information received, is slightly larger than Hyundai Verna in terms of size, but to carry the same interiors and majority of the components. Speculations are rife that the new Avante will come affixed with the same 1.6 L engine affixed in Hyundai Verna, however, a more powerful engine cannot be ruled out either. A diesel engine option is something which cannot be ignored to cater to the demands of the Indian consumers, while LPG guise option cannot be dropped out of the equation to gain the market share over its rivals.

Like in any C or D segment car, an onboard car entertainment system is one of the basic essentials to enthral the user. Beige interiors is one of most preferred color schemes of the Indians. Given the larger size of the sedan, the interior layout is expected to be quite spacious to provide maximum comfort for the whole family to go on a long ride. From what is observed, new Hyundai Avante could be one of the 10-15 cars lined-up by Hyundai Motors for the coming five years. Hyundai India had informed earlier that they have a string of launches slated to take place until 2015 as a part of their expansion plans.
