All-new MINI five-door version Spied

BMW has recently revealed the all-new 2014 MINI at the LA Motor Show, and now the five-door version of the hatch has been caught ahead of its official unveiling next year. The images were captured at the MINI's Oxford manufacturing unit.

AutoExpress.co.uk has managed to get this exclusive images, which clearly shows the stretched design of the three-door MINI revealed earlier this month. The five-door version of the vehicle is said to be the most advantageous model of the new MINI range, which directly target the young generation looking for extra space.

The model looks like the Cooper S model, which is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo engine that churns out a maximum power output of 189bhp. It is also expected to get the same engine configuration available in the three-door version. So, the vehicle will get the 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine producing 134bhp and a 1.5-litre turbodiesel that develops 114bhp. A 2.0-litre version of the five-door version is also expected.
