Amaron Karting Challenge Season 3 waves the chequered flag

India’s biggest Karting Challenge, Amaron Karting Challenge Season 3, which was initiated Nov 20, 2010 on Sunday marked an end on the MECO's Ministry of Speed, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Samshabad situated in Hyderabad. Akash Gouda who hail from Bengaluru managed the top position by showcasing a standout performance all over the event.

The concluding round was extremely tough for the contestants with tighter competition than ever. Akhil Rabindra who also hail from Bengaluru stood at the second position with Prakhyat Rai again from Bengaluru standing at third position.

Akash Gouda was awarded with a scholarship of Rs 10 lacks as he became the Champion of Amaron Karting Challenge Season 3. the scholarship was sponsored by Amaron Pro Racing. The scholarship also includes a professional training assured by Amaron Pro Racing with MECO Motor sports. Moreover, the Amaron Karting Challenge Season 3 has assured his participation in the avant garde motor sports in India as he stood along in the same league as the winner of Amaron Karting Challenge, season 2 , P.D Nanjappa.

A total of 54 racers between 12-16 years of age were chosen from more than 300 schools across 9 cities were selected to fight for the winning trophy today. The participants were categorised on the basis of standard set by Amaron Karting Challenge format including 6 batches of 9. The audience showed a great zwal in the event by cheering for their favourite contestants and with that a total of 12 highest scorers were selected for the final round of the grand finale.

The most gripping and exciting day was the final round of the national finals which was scheduled on a fantastic Sunday evening. The audiences was extremely enthusiastic and cheerful fr the concluding race and the race ended up with a bang. All 12 final participants from the various regions of India demonstrated stand out performances.

Few of the contestants expressed a great performance from the beginning while others caught up at the last moment. The race was dull of excitement with close competition with the contenders. Many of the contenders gave good hard passes but fell short of securing the podium positions.

Mackinlay Barreto who is the Head, Motor Sport in Amaron Pro Racing commented that the organisers were extremely excited about the event and are happy to conclude it in a perfectly planned manner. He also said that passion is hidden in many cities of India. '

He also said that the appreciation received by the public and the strong support and patronage from the company's different partners have fueled them them up to perform even better and bring the event at a larger scale. He also said that Indian F1 being on cards, the company company is more enthusiastic in joining the motor sports community.

Among the audience was also the other Amaron Pro Racing drivers to cheer the participants during the National Finals. These include Amaron Pro Racing drivers Nikhil Kashyap (runner up in the Rotax Championship senior category), Shashank Ravishankar (runner up in the Rotax Championship junior category), and Sandeep Kumar.

Armaan Ebrahim who is the Amaron Brand ambassador, F2 driver and GP2 racer was also present to add up a little more fun and ecitement in the finale. He also shared some of his racing tips with the budding racers.

Another factor added in the racing experience was the college and corporate people. Taking this sport to masses, Amaron gave opportunity to college and corporates enthusiasts to race at the support races. The top finishers will get invitation to participate in Volkswagen Polo cup 2011.

Yes indeed this sport motor racing is fast taking up the imaginations and excitements for new and old drivers. In Mumbai too, at the Powai, last month, the atmosphere was electrifying, with the school children shaping up like professionals. Wow it was great to see small champions ... all of them.
