ARAI to train Korean and Chinese car makers

Automotive Research Association of India better known as ARAI has join hands with few companies in South Korea and China for technical aid. The South Korean and Chinese car makers, such as Hyundai, Ssangyong, etc are coming into the Indian car market and partnering with domestic companies like Mahindra and Mahindra. By collaborating with companies from South Korea and China, ARAI has stepped its foot into the international markets. The Automotive Research Association of India will edify the global carmakers in the segments like safety, certification, industrial homologation and testing.
The official executives from ARAI have already paid a visit to both China and South Korea and apparently this Pune based organization is also in talks with firms in Indonesia, South Africa, Malaysia and Singapore. ARAI has tied up with some component makers and vehicle manufacturers in South Korea and China. This alliance provides plentiful services to auto makers such as research and development, homologations, testing facilities, certification and safety standards accompanied with supporting in developing the vehicles regulations in India. Automotive Research Association of India has numerous testing facilities for testing cars in India, which comprise of tyre testing lab that is only unit after CIRT or Central Institute of Road Transport; HALT (high accelerated life testing) for advanced crash and emission testing unit and seat testing facility with the support of Kulka Robot for developing seats.
