Aston Martin and Ferrari neck to neck in India

Aston Martin, the popular British car maker on 15th April will launch its cars in India. These car are well known as they are associated with James Bond series and now plans to crumble the Indian terrain. Ferrari is another power speed sports car which will soon hit the Indian shores.

Warwickshire auto maker, the Gaydon will introduce four car models at an expected price tag of Rs 1.3 to 2.9 crore. If the luxury car maker introduces the cars at this price range it will compete with the Italian sports car maker Ferrari. The Italian luxury sports car maker will commence the bookings in the upcoming months. As per the evaluations done Ferrari will come with a price tag of Rs 2.2 to Rs 3.37 crore. As per the close sources Aston Martin will bring its car models like Rapide, DB9, DBS and V8 Vantage in a class apart showroom in South Mumbai. As per the news, a dealership will also commence in Delhi. The luxury car manufacturer says that they have already roped 30 buyers for its car models.

Infinity Group are the Mumbai based dealers for the company who also looks after the BMW Indore and Mumbai dealerships. Deutsche Motoren will handle the Delhi based showroom.

Lalit Choudary, co-promoter, Infinity Group, did not reveal much information about it and said that soon the company will come with a declaration.

Aston is another luxury car brand which is setting its footprints after it has seen the homegrown Rolls Royce achievement in the Indian auto market. For the last year Rolls Royce rolled out 80 cars in the domestic auto market and for this year it targets to sell 100 car.

Other car makers who are keenly showing interest in the domestic auto market are Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Cadillac and more. Bugatti, Bentley and Lamborghini have started playing in the auto market. India is gaining this momentum because of the growing economy which has helped in increasing the purchasing power of the people.
