Earlier, sports utility vehicles a.k.a SUVs were said to be fuel-scoffing and bulky. But the SUVs standards have been redefined and the new SUVs are not only fuel efficient but are also sleek looking and handsome. A whole new range of SUVs are all ready and prepared to sizzle on the Indian roads very soon. The Indian auto market has been flourishing and has been offering stylish and sporty sport utility vehicles to the consumers. The new range of SUVs is designed very intelligently and comprise of ample of space. With the chic and sleek look, they still have sufficient power and are extremely fuel efficient. The new range of SUVs basically target the youth of the country.

The auto industry of India is fully aware of the youth of India, who currently desire to own handsome and fuel economic SUVs. Therefore, big daddies of Indian market, like Tata Motors, Renault India, Maruti Suzuki, Ford Motors and Toyota Kirloskar Motors are busy manufacturing SUVs that the youth of India will love. The major highlight here is that the companies will launch their new SUVs under the price tag of Rs. 10 lakh, which would surely make other luxury sedans go green with envy. Looking at the new SUVs in India, the first on the list is Mahindra XUV 500, which has a price tag under Rs. 10 lakh and has given the other car makers a run for their money. India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki also unveiled its brand new SUV concept at the Auto Expo 2012, Maruti XA Alpha that was pretty successful in achieving a lot of appreciation there. Maruti XA Alpha is expected to hit the Indian roads in next two years. Another new SUV that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2012 was Ford EcoSport, which is both trendy and fuel efficient.
