Auto Expo 2012: Live from Event

Auto Expo 2012 is starting from tomorrow. But Cardekho team present at Pragati Maidan got its hands to the latest scoops of the event.

Among the blitzkrieg showcases by top-shots of automobile industry, the major one is home grown Tata Motors. While we caught Tata Safari Storm in the pavilion, it is an acute possibility that the car maker will make the best use of this opportunity and surprisingly launch the new SUV based on Tata Safari.

In addition the cute little hatch, Nano will adopt an all CNG way this Expo, as Tata Motor will showcase Tata Nano CNG version along with a concept cars Tata Concept S2 and Tata Pixel.

The mega group which embrace brands like Jaguar and Land Rover within, is at its heels in this Auto Expo and will unveil Jaguar CX-16 concept, Jaguar RS among the 9-10 hot-wheels it is going to display in totality. Luxury car honcho Audi India is also quite proactive in its grand pavilion.

While Audi Q3 is ready to be unveiled, smoking red hot Audi S6 sedan standing at the venue is turning out to be a heart-taker. Very very sporty Audi R8 Roadster 5.2 quattro is ready to drive you crazy.

We even spotted the very famous Audi Q7. Now, this needs to be seen if the SUV has been brought here just for display or a new version is on its way.

The list is non-ending with, with the next participant being Czech car maker Skoda. With its limited portfolio of Skoda cars, the company is vying to steal hearts of spectators.

Skoda stand will be decorated with its recently launched entry-level sedan Skoda Rapid, Skoda Fabia RS 2000 concept which looks stunning with an open-top and a new off-roader Skoda Fabia Scout. The other head-turners that were caught in lenses were New Premier Rio and obviously BMW’s Mini Cooper which was hanging on the wall.
