Auto Expo Venue and Layout

Excitement and enthusiasm is at its best as the Delhi Auto expo is about to start. The 10th edition of the Delhi Auto Expo is scheduled from January 5-11 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The first day of Auto expo is generally reserved as Media Day but this time besides Media Day it will also be called as Goodwill day in which special arrangements will be made for physically handicapped. This time the Auto Expo is expected to draw around two million visitors which would make it the biggest ever auto show in India. The Auto Expo at Pragati Maidan is spread over 140,000 square meters in which around 2100 participants from all over the world will be participating. In this auto expo around 30 automobile companies including 5 electric automobile manufacturers will be showcasing their most popular and upcoming automobiles.

Besides this, the Delhi auto expo will be the meeting point of many international delegations where around 1,50,000 international business visitors will be interacting. As companies from around 25 countries are taking part in this auto show, even before its start the Delhi auto show has become the center of attraction in world automobile market.  A variety of participating segments which include Vehicles, Components, accessories, Garage & Garage Equipments, Oil & Lubricants, Auto Electronics, Leasing/Financial Companies, Insurance Companies, Battery Operated Vehicles, has been provided a different Pavilion, CAD/CAM Solutions, Coach builders/”design” vehicles, Design concepts and Auto finance companies has been allotted different theme pavilions.

The Auto Expo will be meeting and gathering point of a large array of visitors which includes overseas buyer delegations, Diplomats / Embassies / Missions in India, International Business visitors, Dealers Delegations, Senior Executives of PSUs, CEOs/Decision Makers, Ministerial Departments, Managers/Department /Division Heads, Engineers / Technicians, Research Institutes / Educational Institutions and Publication Houses.

To accommodate the International delegations an exclusive International business lounge will be provided while at the same time an exclusive Media lounge has also been arranged in this venue. Besides this  exclusive Five Star Restaurant and Meeting / Conference facilities are there within the venue. Two segment of halls has been arranged in which the first segment includes Halls 2 to 12, 14 & 15, will be used for showcasing vehicles – cars, utility vehicles, commercial vehicles, buses, trucks, two-wheelers & three-wheelers. While in the other segment of halls which includes Halls 1, 13, 18 & Hangers a variety of  Auto components, accessories and garage equipments will be on display.

Besides all activities mentioned above some special attraction are also included in this auto show like Vintage Car Display, Go-carting, Award Nights, Design Contest, Diesel Pavilion and Asli / Naqli Pavilion. The range of automobiles which will be showcased in this auto show includes latest and upcoming car models, upcoming bikes, electric and hybrid vehicles, commercial vehicles and defence and security vehicles.
