BMW is one luxury car maker which manufactures cars that excel on roads. BMW 5 Series, the flagship model of the company is one example. This new sedan has been seen many a times and was recently sneaked peaked conducting the winter test of BMW M5. The BMW M5 will be high on technology and speed and luxury at par. This luxury car is added with 4.4 litre, twin turbocharged V8. The new sedan can churn a power from 507 bhp to 560 bhp and 530 lf-ft of maximum torque. The all new BMW M5 can be termed as pure definition of perfection. This four door luxury sedan connects with a supercomputer which helps in controlling this beauty on roads. It will be equipped with state of the art suspension and car dynamics. With the car's being handled with a supercomputer, it is sure to provide the passenger with safety, speed and luxury. The new offering from the BMW's stable will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March by 2011.
Back home, BMW is a well known brand in India and is expanding really fast. Recently it extended on the company's wide range of car models it offers in the domestic auto market. The company launched its SUV BMW X1 with a price tag of Rs 22 lakh to Rs 29.9 lakh. The new SUV will be available in three car models Corporate Edition, Highline and Cool Elegance in petrol and diesel powertrain. The 1.8 litre SUV along with 1955 cc petrol mill offers 150 bhp however the 2.0 litre diesel powertrain can churn out 177 bhp. The SUV lovers have a number of times bowed down to the BWM technology, advanced features and luxury it comes with and as the new BMW X1 is introduced with this price tag, it has already created ripple among the rivals also. The new power wagon will be competing with Chevrolet Captiva, Honda CR-V, Mitsubishi Pajero, Mitsubishi Outlander, Toyota Fortuner and the likes. The new BMW X1 is an all new experience on road as the powertrain in the SUV can deliver different values, is sharp in handling and is affixed with various features.
