The famous Z4 roadster of the number one luxury auto brand from Germany, BMW moved into the second generation in 2009 when the soft top of the predecessor was lost to the retractable metal roof. Looking at the usual timeline for the introduction of new or improved products, the BMW Z4 roadster is due for a mid-life facelift by the next year. The BMW’s recent history indicates that the upgrades or more specifically facelifts that the company renders to its cars range from hardly conspicuous tweaks in the styling of the 2013 BMW 7-series facelift to pretty evident changes like the ones done in the 2009 BMW E90 3-series facelift.
In light of the current scenario, the fate in terms of designing of the newest BMW Z4 facelift is in the hands of the BMW’s chief designer Karim Habin and his team but the independent designer from United Kingdom, Ivan Borisov might also try his hands on the Z4 facelift. It is the contribution of the Borisov’s photoshop that resulted in the broader and more prominent double kidney grilles typical of the brand and also the sharper headlights that wrap beautifully around the hood and the fenders. The changes rendered by the brand to its facelifts might be simple but they work just fine. Since the BMW Z4 roadster reaches Indian shores as a CBU (Completely built Unit), the facelift version is also expected to make an entry here.
