Time and again the world is greeted with ludicrous cars. And more often than not, they emerge from the stable of Brabus. The German company has now come up with the world's fastest four-seat cabriolet. Called the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio, this car started its life as a standard Mercedes S 63 4MATIC -- the S-Class Cabriolet. The 850 in the name suggests the 850PS (838bhp) power that propels the car to a top speed of 350kmph, thereby making it the fastest and the most powerful four-seat cabriolet in the world.

It is powered by a BRABUS six-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine. Alongside the 850PS power, the engine produces a massive, tarmac-ripping peak torque of 1,450Nm. Remember the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse? The fastest Veyron ever -- it has a peak torque of 1,500Nm. The same is achieved by using all-new turbochargers with bigger compressors. All this power is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. To feed this hungry engine, Brabus has used new carbon intake and carbon air ducts. The exhaust is also a stainless steel unit which is pleasingly loud and has a supercar baritone.

Standstill to 100kmph takes only 3.5 seconds and the car is limited to a top speed of 350kmph. There is a possibility that beyond this speed, the tyres could explode. Visually, the car features naked carbon aerodynamic-enhancement components and 21-inch forged wheels. It features the signature Brabus black colour with red outlines. The Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio also comes with a new front spoiler with carbon surrounds as well as a rear carbon diffuser and spoiler.

The price of this black beast remains undisclosed. All you need to do is buy a new S-Class Cabriolet and take it to the men at Brabus. Do make sure that you have a trunk-full of money. In return, you will get a permanent grin on your face and a monthly bill for new set of tyres.
