BSNL's Indore division has recently launched a first of its kind wi-fi technology module for cars, which will allow people to use Internet while they are on the go. The facility has however been started in Indore only, it will be launched nationwide, once it gains popularity.
The Wi-fi technology module was first experimented by installing it on an official car of BSNL Indore unit's General Manager G C Pandey. Speaking on the same, Pandey Said that this was possibly the first model in the country where the car has an antenna to receive wi-fi signals at a speed of 3.5 mbps, from an exchange based on CDMA technology.
The wi-fi technology module along with its installation charges will cost around Rs 5,000 to 6,000. This is all what we have for now, we will update more on the same once we get the detail information. So, stay tuned to CarDekho, cheers!
