Nissan has revealed its ambitions for new models in India, including the X-Trail, Qashqai, and Juke. The first two will go through market feasibility testing in the coming months, with the X-Trail taking precedence over the Qashqai for launch, while the small SUV Juke was just showcased for now.
Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition Launched
Skoda is commemorating the completion of the Kushaq’s first year in India with the launch of an anniversary edition of the compact SUV. Aside from a few cosmetic changes, the 10-inch touchscreen system is on offer in this iteration. It costs Rs 30,000 more than the top-spec Style trim it is based upon.
BYD Atto 3 Reaches Dealerships

Volvo XC40 Recharge Roll Out
Volvo has begun the roll out of its first locally assembled premium electric SUV, the XC40 Recharge, from its Hoskote facility in Karnataka. The Swedish car manufacturer has only allocated 150 units for India in 2022, all sold out, with deliveries set to conclude by the end of current year.
Rolls Royce’s First EV
As the brand synonymous with automotive luxury, Rolls-Royce has debuted its first EV, the Spectre. It serves as the spiritual successor to the Phantom Coupe as an ultra-luxury coupe with its stretched hood and fastback-style rear profile. The EV is said to have a range of up to 520 km. Mercedes EQE SUV Unveiled

The Force Gurkha five-door was spied on recently as it reached a dealership ahead of its launch. It is fairly similar to the three-door model, as most features have been carried over to the five-door version. It could also get the same 2.6-litre diesel engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission but will get both 4WD and manual front and rear locking differentials. The five-door Gurkha could launch in the coming months with an expected price of Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
