Chevrolet celebrates 100 years with Vintage Car Rally

General Motors, has completed a century and to celebrate the success of 100 years GM organized Chevrolet Vintage Car Drive inaugurated in New Delhi on 31st November. General Motors is a well known name in the auto industry which has served with its unmatched quality product. The company plans to start with variety of programmes such as customer services, internal growth, building relationships and much more in the coming years.

General Motors India journey started in 1996 and since then it has been a success. The company offers ranges of products in the Chevrolet brand which has successful products such as Chevrolet Captiva, Chevrolet Optra, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Aveo U-VA, Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Travera manufacturing at the Halol plant in Gujarat and Talegaon in Maharashtra. All these wide ranges of cars comes in the compact, mid size and SUV segments affixed with advanced technology, luxury, comfort and style. In the capital on Sunday, hoods of Chevrolet Vintage cars were running on road with GM's management actively participating in the vintage car rally. The rally was of 28 km and Chevrolet vintage cars from all over the country participated in the event. The Chevrolet Vintage cars rally included the company's creations from convertibles, sedans, tourers, coupes, two and four door cars, as old as 1926 Chevrolet models.

The event was flagged off by the President and Managing Director of the General Motor, Mr. Karl Slym, with other dignitaries and officials from the company. The celebration was witnessed by crowds who gathered to look at the vintage cars of Chevrolet and its proud owners. Mr. Karl Slym happily said, that, the rally is not just the celebration of 100 years but also the products which the company crafts. The company is very proud of the achievement, the value the company holds and what it stands by. The company with these celebrations will continue to write a new success story around the world. GM extensively plans to expand in India. With two of the manufacturing units already working, It is planning to open several new dealerships, consumer related programmes, trainings and much more. The company wishes to continue with success and consumer satisfaction in the coming years.
