Company to launch Mahindra Thar to please SUV lovers

Ready to beat the road and turn people green with envy with the all new Mahindra Thar. The jeep look like SUV to be launched on 23rd December, 2010 will surely make a statement in the SUV world. The new SUV stands out in its looks and designs among the sports utility vehicles available in the Indian auto industry. The Mahindra Thar maintains its signature look of square jaw which has been favourites among its owners, fashion enthusiast and World Wars also. The savvy SUV will be fully loaded with the NEF CRD e Euro IV with an engine displacement of 2498 cc powertrain and five speed manual transmission. The powerful SUV can churn an output of 105 @ 3800 rpm and maximum torque of 247 Nm @ 1800 to 2000 rpm. The SUV is equipped with Independent front suspension with torsion and stabilizer bar and semi elliptical leaf springs with tension side shot penned. The wheelbase of the SUV is 2430 mm and the tubeless tyres measure P 253/70 R 16.
