As per the rumors which are from Italy, the Ferrari will be investing 50 million Euros, which is around $ 62.2 million to create a new assembly line for manufacturing the supercharged V-6 engine and the all time in demand Twin Turbo V6 Engine. These engines will not be used in the cars with the badge of prancing horse emblem on the grille but will be incorporated in the power ranging, top car models of the car makers like Maserati, Lancia and Alfa Romeo. This is good news that Ferrari is planning to make an expansion in its business. The investment will strengthen Ferrari which is around the 17 percent of the companies’ turnover and will eventually increase the requirements of the human resource in the company.
It has been reported that the Ferrari will be focusing more on the production of a bi-turbo V-6 which provides a power of 450 HP. The other engine which will be produced simultaneously is V-8, capable of churning out a 500 hp of power. These engines will be used in the next of Maserati Quattroporte and Maserati Gran Turismo. Also these engines wil be featured in the new flagship Alfa Romeo, a future range-topping Lancia and the upcoming Maserati Kubang SUV cars. The Fiat Motor may reduce the number of engines being manufactured by the family company to reduce the production costs of the cars. The design of the engine will be performance based with the fuel efficiency and should comply the emission norms.
