In July, the Skoda Kushaq completed a year of sale in India. We can exclusively confirm that the carmaker has introduced a new ‘Anniversary Edition’ of the 5-star safety rated SUV to commemorate the one year anniversary. We also have the prices, but we’re awaiting an official announcement.
What’s The Premium?
The Anniversary Edition is based on the Kushaq’s Style variant, demanding Rs 30,000 extra. Here’s the variant-wise price:

The limited edition is available with both the 1-litre and 1.5-litre TSI engines, with manual and automatic options.

What’s New?
The Kushaq Anniversary Edition gets a handful of cosmetic upgrades including a lower chrome garnish, door end garnish, the ‘Anniversary Edition’ foil on the C-pillar, and an exclusive badging. Since it’s based on the Style variant, you already get 17-inch alloys, LED headlamps, several chrome highlights, and roof rails.
In terms of features, the Anniversary Edition gains a 10-inch touchscreen system with a 6-speaker sound system and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The same touchscreen unit was replaced by a smaller 8-inch unit in the rest of the variants and is now equipped with the Monte Carlo edition.
Other features include an electric sunroof, automatic AC, cruise control, wireless charging, an 8-inch digital driver’s display (the Virtual Cockpit), paddle shifters, up to six airbags, a rear parking camera, and TPMS.
An Anniversary Edition Accessory Kit’s There Too!
With this edition, Skoda will also give exclusive accessories including chrome ribs for the grille, door wind visor, curtain pillow, mud flap, 3D rubber mat, neck pillow, body cover, car key cover, and sunblinds for an additional cost of Rs 9,500.

Any Powertrain Changes?
None. The Kushaq Anniversary Edition continues with its 115PS 1-litre and 150PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines. Both the turbos get a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, with the option of a 6-speed AT for the 1-litre and a 7-speed DSG (dual clutch auto) for the 1.5-litre.
