It is festive season and Diwali is on the brink. Car makers in India are doling freebies on cars in their shelves in the best of manner. Cars in India are offered with best deals during this period and there is hysteria in car industry about the discount on cars. Be it SUVs, sedans or hatchbacks-all are flaunting their lucrative price tags in the showrooms. Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Fiat India, Ford India etc nealrly all have loaded their products with attractive discounts.  To start with, M&M is offering benefits of upto Rs 54,000 on the Mahindra Xylo E series and Rs 39,000 on Mahindra Xylo D series whereas Mahindra Scorpio EX is being offered at a special EMI of only Rs 9,999 and Mahindra Verito sedan witnesses a free insurance of up to Rs 20,000.

Ford India, on the other hand, doles out freebies such as digital cameras, home theater systems and LCD TV which are being offered with every Ford car booked. And to everyone’s surprise, New Fiesta is proudly boasting Rs 50,000 off on it. Similarly, Chevrolet Spark and Chevrolet Beat petrol are coming with free 81cm LCD TV, free maintenance worth Rs 14,500 and a gift voucher worth Rs 21000. Chevrolet has made Diwali a real celebration with Chevrolet Aveo U-VA starting at Rs 4.34 lakh, Chevrolet Aveo sedan starting at Rs 5.36 lakh and Chevrolet Optra Magnum starting at Rs 6.69 lakh. Fiat Linea is attached with benefits upto Rs 1.3 lakh although a new car facelift is round the corner and the discounts may be offered to clear the stock. Fiat Punto also has benefits upto Rs 90,000 on it.

Home-grown Tata Motors have given Diwali discounts with open hands. Tata Aria SUV can be yours at a minimal down payment of Rs 1.99 lakh. Tata Manza’s introductory price is Rs 4.99 lakh. Small car Tata Nano which has undergone a downfall in sales this year is also on the wish list with minimum down payment of Rs 15,000 whereas Tata Vista is offered with minimal down payment of Rs 25,000.
