Ford EcoSport Unveiled Officially in Mumbai, Delhi is Next

Ford India has now officially unveiled the much anticipated Ford EcoSport at Infiniti Mall, Malad West, Mumbai as part of their '12 city roadshow' initiative. National capital New Delhi is the next city to inspect the unveiling of the EcoSport at Saket City Walk Mall on Sunday March 17. There are other 10 cities to get to see the vehicle before its official launch.
The vehicle was put at the Infiniti mall early in the morning only, but covered, and crowd out there got mad seeing the vehicle uncovered, and started taking pictures. The car has already created the hype everywhere and everybody's eagerly waiting for the car to launch, and the similar response was inspected today as well further assuring that the vehicle is surely going to be a huge hit in India if priced well.
Ford India hasn't still disclosed the launch dates of the vehicle, but the promotion of the car has been kick started full fledged. After launching an interactive campaign 'urban discoveries', Ford has come with this new 12 city road show initiative to make sure that the vehicle is advertised well before the launch.
Ford EcoSport likely to come in three engine options a 1.0-litre EcoBoost 3-cylinder petrol engine, a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Ford India also announced that the EcoSport line-up will include four trims, giving consumers a choice of three engine options with options including manual transmission and an automatic transmission option in petrol.
The company hasn't also disclosed the exact specifications of the EcoSport except the ones it disclosed on its official website back in November 2012. Which includes 200mm ground clearance, 550mm water wading ability, 25 degree departure, 25 degree approach and 25 degree break over angles and some others.
The upcoming Ford EcoSport will be equally safe and comfortable having features like side curtain airbags along with the driver and front passenger airbags, push button start and keyless entry, Traction control, ABS, EBD, 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, Hill Launch Assist, 560-litre storage area with rear seats folded, under seat storage at the front, cooled glove box and various others.
At the EcoSport Urban Hub launch Joginder Singh, president and managing director of Ford India said, “We are excited to go live with our game changer EcoSport at the EcoSport Urban Hub as we bring our urban SUV closer to our consumers. We have taken a step further by giving them an opportunity to drive and experience the EcoSport out in the open and share their product experience with their family and friends. With this experiential drive commencing in May we will go further in meeting their aspirations.”
