Ford Fiesta touches zenith in consumer satisfaction

Ford is winning hearts of the Indian buyers, but this time it is not Ford Figo the popular hatchback, but it is the sedan car model Ford Fiesta. The sedan has bagged the top spot again in the consumer satisfaction in the midsize segment category for second time in a row. The report recently released by TNS suggets that Ford Fiesta is the most appreciated car by the customers.

Ford Fiesta's win in the buyers satisfaction report is a clear indication of its popularity in the mid size segment. Last year the TNS survey was conducted on the cars in the diesel mid size segment. Michael Boneham, President and Managing Director at Ford India said that Ford Fiesta is a winning car model in the American auto giant's portfolio. It has reflected its leadership in the mid size segment category through the TNS Automotive 2010 India , Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) study for two years in a row. Ford is enjoying this proud moment and the recognition, it is a well known name among the customers. He added that the car will provide Indian buyers a premium saloon which will be a true reflection of their personality in technology, performance and style. The car will add new dynamism and variety in the Ford showrooms.

When asked about the arrival of the new Ford Fiesta Mr Boneham said that the US auto giant is extremely excited about the launch.

Ford India now has big plans for the domestic auto market. With the successful launch of Ford Figo the company has been able to win over the hearts of the Indian buyers. The auto giant once again wishes to cement its foot print in the domestic auto market. The auto biggie will take on further from here, Ford India is planning to launch Ford Fiesta the next-gen sedan in the mid size segment. It is expected that the saloon will be launched probably by mid 2011 which will be placed above Ford Fiesta Classic car model.
