Ford India to bring its All-new, Global Award-winning Fiesta in India in 2011

Ford is riding high on the success of its flagship Ford Figo and is planning to expand its portfolio with the launch of Ford Fiesta this year in India. Ford India had of late announced the launch of eight new cars in India, Ford Fiesta would be the first one to be launched out of the eight cars.

Speaking over the launch of the new Ford Fiesta, Michael Boneham, president and managing director, Ford India said that the company is elated over the relaunch of the sedan in India. He further added that the company looks froward to the launch of the refreshed Ford Fiesta which will offer performance, technology and style to the Indian customers.

The new sedan is likely to be manufactured at the Ford's state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Chennai. The refreshed Ford Fiesta is expected to be endowed with class and style Ford is famous for, the car will be donning the sporty design and class. Apart form this, Ford Fiesta is also expected to offer dynamic performance.

Boneham also said that the company is focusing on augmenting its portfolio and expect surge in the demand and sales. The strategy to launch eight new cars in India is a result of the excellent response Ford Figo  received ever since its launch. The new Fiesta is available in more than 100 countries across the globe and has managed to sell more than one million cars worldwide.
