General Motors India records a growth of 36% in October

General Motors India has recorded a fabulous growth of 36% in its sales during October 2010, in comparison to the same period earlier year. In October 2010, the company sold 10051 units. This was against 7413 units of October 2009. These sales of October 2010 comprised 3251 units of Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Beat 3021 units, Chevrolet Tavera 1594 units, Chevrolet Cruze  957 units, Chevrolet Aveo  405 Units, Chevrolet Aveo U-VA 328 units, Chevrolet Optra 333 units and Chevrolet Captiva 162 units. This rise in the sales was mainly due to the response that Chevrolet Beat, Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Spark achieved. Models like Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Cruze have now become the benchmarks of the industry in their respective segments. These models have got superb design, excellent performance and other product qualities to impress numerous consumers.

Chevrolet Spark is also able to carry on in a positive manner. It has also registered impressive sales. Balendran, Vice President, General Motors India said that they are thrilled by the constant overwhelming response that Chevrolet Beat, Spark and Cruze are receiving. He further added that the company has successfully launched the best-in-segment cars from the 300 series.
