General Motors India reports 48.51 percent sales in September

Carmaker General Motors India recently reported a 48.51 per cent jump in its sales at 7,654 units in September, the highest ever monthly sales registered by the company in the domestic market.

During the month of September last year GM India had sold a total of 5, 154 units. The September sales also comprised 1,329 units of multi-utility vehicle Chevrolet Tavera, 753 units of hatchback Chevrolet Aveo U-VA, 424 units of the sedan Chevrolet Aveo, 319 units of the luxury sedan Chevrolet Optra and 123 units of Chevrolet Captiva.

Vice-President P Balendran of GM India said, We are pleased to see such robust growth for all our car lines and we believe these world class products will further propel the Chevrolet brand in the market.
