GM Cruze to come to India in October

General Motors crossover model, GM Chevrolet Cruze is ready to rock the Indian roads in October ending its long wait on 12th of October which will be its new model in the upper mid-sized segment. GM will price the car at Rs. 12-14 lakh and pit it against Honda Civic, Skoda Laura and Toyota Corolla. The new model GM Cruze is expected be powered by 2.0L common rail turbo diesel engine with 150 bhp of power and 330nm of torque.  1.8L petrol variant may be later launched and that 140bhp model with automatic transmission will be interesting too.

GM India is upbeat about Indian market as it has been making profits in the country even when the parent company was facing troubled times back home. In sync with the same business strategy for India, GM India also has plans to bring Chevrolet Beat in the Indian market. So rest assured that GM India keeping its promise will remain unaffected from the turmoils of the US market and will continue to bring newer models in the Indian market.
