Honda Amaze buyers to get 2 years Maintenance Package and Road Side Assistance

Launch of Honda Amaze is merely a month far, and Honda is readying the 2 years maintenance package, extended warranty schemes and exchange offers, so to make sure that the maintenance of the car is no more a problem. And like we reported in our earlier story, the company has already built over 10,000 units of Honda Amaze, so that the initial demand for the vehicle can be fulfilled instantly all over India. So all these preparation is being made to make sure that the car becomes a success in India. Besides readying maintenance package, warranty and other schemes to offered with the Amaze, company’s top executives are visiting homes of first time buyers, who previously bought company’s Brio hatchback, to learn from their requirements and suggestions.

Honda Amaze is certainly a very important product for the company, as it is entering in the entry level sedan segment, which is amongst one of the biggest and competitive ones. And the company is expecting it to be a huge success due to its potent diesel engine, design and of course the pricing. Speaking about the company’s expectations from the Amaze, HC IL Sr. VP- Sales and Marketing Jnaneswar Sen said, "The Amaze is a critically important car for us. Not only that we are entering a new segment of entry level sedan, we are also introducing our first diesel engine here. It is a growing segment and this should help us grow,"

Speaking about the importance to meet customer requirements, he further added, "With Amaze, we are expecting a lot of first time buyers. Our senior management people, even including our Senior Vice President and Director Shigeru Yamazaki, are doing home visits of Brio buyers to understand their needs and learn from them." He further said that Honda expects a lot of self driven customers for Amaze unlike its other sedans which are mostly chauffeur driven.

"Therefore, we are preparing for quick service, road-side assistance, maintenance package of two years or 40,000 km, extended warranty. We are ensuring that cost of maintenance is low," he said. He also talked about company’s plans of having exchange offers for Amaze, they will entertain any old car from any brand.
