The long wait for Honda's first diesel car finally gets over today, and let me be honest, Honda Amaze has all it takes to be a genuinely value for money car, and above everything it has Honda's brand name. Honda has launched the vehicle in a total 10 variants- 4 diesel, 4 petrol and two petrol automatic priced between Rs. 4.99 lakh and Rs. 7.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Except the lucrative pricing, Honda Amaze has much to offer to everyone looking to buy a new compact sedan. There are a total six colour options offered on the Amaze and two interior shades depending on trim-level.
The future of compact sedan segment in India will be different from today onwards, as the class topper Swift Dzire now has someone to fight with unlike before. It's just the service network and production capacity on which Honda will have to work more aggressively to sell the car in numbers.
Like we mentioned above, the car has much to offer to all sort of people, if you are one of those car enthusiasts, the Amaze diesel belts out the best-in-class power output figure of 98.6bhp, around 25bhp more than the Dzire, or if you want a vehicle that offers good mileage, then it shocks you even more, despite being the most powerful vehicle in its league in terms of power, it returns the whooping 25.8kmpl of mileage, which no other car in the country offers today. And if service cost and other benefits you have in mind, Honda Amaze has come up with two years maintenance package, extended warranty scheme and road side assistance, so to ensure that the maintenance worry is no more yours, Honda is there to take care of this.
Speaking about the car, Honda Cars India President & CEO H Kanayama said, "We are confident of its success. We have worked on aggressive localization overcoming many challenges in terms of timelines, technology and costs to bring Amaze at an attractive and affordable price. Amaze as been developed keeping in view the Indian customer need. It is Honda's answer to Indian customer's demand for diesel and should have a strong acceptance,"
Now we will talk about the features that Honda Amaze has on offer

All the above mentioned features prove the Amaze to be a feature rich car, and despite being a sub-4 metre, it has a lot of space inside. However, the interiors remind you of the brio due to similar dashboard and fittings, it has more features.
