The Last fiscal was not good for car-makers, however the story is different for Japanese auto giant. Honda Cars India registered an annual growth of 35 per cent. The company has big plans for the Indian auto industry, as per media reports Honda is all set to open a new assembly at its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. Moreover, Honda is doing its final preparations of launching its much awaited first ever diesel car in India, named as Amaze on 11th April.

Apart from the first ever diesel car, Honda has more to encourage. The fiscal year (2012-13) has ended, and during this period (April 2012 – March 2013) Honda India sold a total of 73,483 units as against 54,427 units from the previous fiscal. A total of huge 35 per cent improvement, Honda has every right to be happy. The company also exported 2,622 units during the same financial year. Meanwhile, the March 2013 numbers aren't as exciting as against the last March 2012. Honda sold 10,044 units last month as compared to 11,016 passenger vehicles in March 2012.

With Amaze diesel, Honda is all set to sizzle the Indian roads. It looks like Japanese auto-major had assessed the market and its mistakes to come up with an exciting product which already created lots of buzz in the market. Additionally, the firm also plans to launch five new models – interestingly all diesel line-ups.

Best of Luck Honda Cars India....Cheers!!!!
