Honda City is all set to welcome its facelift model during this festive season. Honda City facelift is in news from quite some time and Honda India, after launching the much competitive-Honda Brio, can launch the new Honda City sedan anytime ahead of the festive season of Diwali. Since Honda Brio price is kept at a minimum of Rs 3.95 lakh, Honda City facelift price in India would not be much different from the existing version although some plastic surgery is done in new Honda City .

Honda City, which is a breadwinner car for Honda Motors, has been reserving the ace position in C+ segment in terms of sales for quite some months now. Honda City easily managed to cloak sales of 5,819 cars in August, topping the charts and this sedan has made to almost 6,000 Indian houses in the ongoing month again emerging as the highest selling car in its segment. Such a popular car is sure to have many takers for its facelift also. Honda City facelift is already being sold in Thailand. The recent price slash and highly localized Honda City’s parts has improved production efficiencies to ensure that Honda India has priced its bread and butter car quite competitively.

Automatic climate control is also expected to head towards new Honda City facelift with a dual color scheme. However, a diesel version is still unsure to arrive and a 1.5 litre I-Vtec engine that will produce the power of 116 bhp may be packed in facelift Honda City.

i think it is just an anticipation or another effort from honda to somehow sustain in the market with new looks. but it is the right time to come with a diesel model rather making changes every three or four months with some cosmetic changes. today's demand is fuel efficiency.
