The Indian Auto Expo this season is expected to be more interesting than ever before. More than ever, the global and local car manufacturers are focused to claim their accomplishments in developing more fuel efficient and environmental friendly cars. Hybrid cars are anyway less fuel sipping and low on waste gas emissions as well with the electric motor taking away the pressure partially. All the same, the gasoline and the diesel cars are also evolving out to be better performers in terms of fuel efficiency and carbon di-oxide emissions.
All-electric cars are another part of the equation. So expect a good fight among the cars across all categories from various brands with a focused goal to achieve cleaner and greener environment which is definitely going to be exciting to watch at the Auto Expo beginning from tomorrow, the January 5th. An ample lot of choice can be seen among the hybrid and electric cars this season where there is going to be some heated competition between Mahindra and Mahindra and Tata Motors where each of them has a trump card to play. Mahindra Verito electric will be a part of the Mahindra’s pavilion at the Auto Expo this time apart from its all electric Mahindra Reva NXR, the revamped better performing version of Revai. Tata Motors who had just been showered with laurels at the recently concluded Tokyo Motor show with the Tata Indica electric and Tata Vista electric is gearing up to unveil the Tata Manza hybrid at the Indian Auto Expo this time.
Hyundai who has some exciting new cars for the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo is expected to showcase its own flock of electric cars this season. The luxury car manufacturer Audi is also not behind in its foray into the hybrid car segment, where the Audi A8 hybrid car variant and the Audi A8 sports hybrid will be a part of Audi’s display for the Auto Exhibition. Why will Maruti India give in to the extreme competition? The country’s largest but unamused car manufacturer after a bad performance last year hopes to bring the first hybrid car, the Swift hybrid which will be seen parked in its stall at the Auto Expo 2012. Toyota’s Prius C and Toyota Prius hybrid sedan will also join the hybrid car line-up for the Expo. On the other hand, the age old experienced diesel and petrol cars from Tata with the new Tata Pixel concept and the Tata Nano diesel which boast of a phenomenal 35 kmpl mileage. All in all, the 2012 Indian Auto Expo is something to look forward to for the car manufacturers, visitors and the car enthusiasts across the globe.
