Hyundai's latest take on the market capturer Maruti Suzuki Celerio, is the offering of 1.0-litre engine in its new entrant Eon Magna+. However, the auto-maker will also continue with the smaller engine of 0.8-litre on all the other Eon variants. So, is it a desperate attempt from Hyundai to create magic in sales chart or is just a call of necessity to bring a peppier engine in current times. In order to provide a clear image of which car has an edge over the other, we did a brief comparison of Hyundai Eon Magna+, Celerio and Datsun Go. Also read our comparison on Datsun Go v/s Hyundai Eon v/s Alto K10.

Verdict:

Maruti Suzuki Celerio seems to be the clever pick as being a Maruti car, the hatch has a low maintenance cost with greater brand value. The car also features AMT gearbox which give a hassle free drive. However, the Hyundai Eon Magna+ may also prove to be a decent pick, especially for those looking for some great power and refined engine. Lastly, Datsun Go lacks certain features such as mp3 music system, rear power windows, glove box (closed),etc and thus could find it difficult to lure the graduating Indian car enthusiast.
