Hyundai i20 registered highest sales of 2.5 lakh units

Hyundai, one of the biggest car manufacturer in India, registered the record breaking sales with 2.5 lakh units of i20 sold in domestic and overseas markets. This sensational car was launched in December 2..8, and since then the company is ably to sell more than 2.5 lakh units of its i20. The big success of the model is also shouldered by its two latest variants Era & Sportz introduced in the month of April this year. In the domestic market the sales reached 92,000 units and around 1,68,000 units were exported to over 80 countries round the globe. Finally its time for celebration and on this special occasion, HMIL has announced the GPS based AVN (Audio Visual Navigation) feature in its Asta varient. The additional feature is going to make this model further attractive. The AVN system will bear a 5 inch LCD display along with a touchscreen. This system is a satellite based and voice guided navigation tool. With this enhancement, one can travel with ease and clarity in routes.

Other features of AVN system include details about locations, route options, the nearest Hyundai touch points, points of interest like restaurants, hotels, hospitals and malls, the SD memory card with pre-loaded navigation software, voice prompts in dozen languages including 8 Indian regional languages, different route settings like shortest route, fastest route or the optimal route, record travel-related data for every journey, video playback from the iPod/USB drive, audio controls are provided on the steering wheel, in-built Bluetooth with an audio streaming, with these features, i20 Asta will be priced at Rs. 630,439 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
