Commenting on the February sales Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP- Sales and Marketing, HMIL said, “Hyundai volumes of 37,305 units registered a growth of 9.7% over last year on the strength of strong performance of Elite i20 with 10,264 units. The growth in additional & repeat buyers is higher than that of first time buyers. Reduction in interest rates could bring in the thrust to break the threshold of low growth & initiate the double digit growth."
Interestingly, the most recent addition in the HMIL’s product portfolio, the Elite i20, once again topped the sales chart and emerged as the bestselling model at 10,264 units. Also, the company is set to launch the crossover version of the same, the i20 ‘Active’ on the coming 17th.
