Hyundai to spend 200 cr on ads

Hyundai Motors is hoping to strengthen its tie in world's fastest growing auto market India, already enjoying the top position in the manufacturing. It seems with the growing returns that its appetite is also increasing with time. Hyundai is thinking on the lines of expanding the business in the Indian automotive market and has planned to invest Rs 200 crore in the coming five years in the promotional activities and advertisement. For this, the exercise has already been started, Hyundai is the official partner for the International Cricket Council (ICC). Arvind Saxena, Director Marketing and Sales- Hyundai Motor India Ltd., (HMIL) said that from this year the Japanese auto manufacturer is looking forward to launching two models yearly for the next three years.
Hyundai Motors, the biggest exporter and the second biggest auto mobile manufacturer in the domestic auto market will not only be the official sponsor for the ICC world Cup for 2011 but will continue its association with it till 2015 with the exclusive category rights.
H W Park, MD and CEO, HMIL stated that the company is proud to be associated with the International Cricket Council. The World Cup is one of the mega event and Hyundai is proud to be part of it.
The ground transportation is one of the most important aspect for an event like ICC Cricket World Cup and here Hyundai will play a critical role as it will provide the most luxurious and best option for transportation for the players, its officials and the VIP guests. The company also hopes to continue the alliance for a long time.
Other then the ICC World Cup, Hyundai will also provide transportation for the T20 championship and Women's World Cup. Hyundai will include from its brand wagon the selected models such as Hyundai i10, Hyundai Santa Fe, Hyundai Verna Transform and Hyundai Sonata Transform, known for its technology rightly in hand with the advance features and style. This is not the first move from HMIL as it also sponsored the FIFA World Cup and it was formerly the naming rights sponsor for the ICC Cricket Awards.
HMIL also proposes for activities such as "Hyundai Fan Park" where the customers will be able to watch the game live on a large screen TV and also win tickets for other matches.
