Hyundais Grand has a grand success, reaches one lakh units in 10 months

Hyundai Motor India Ltd has reached a new landmark with its Grand by delivering one lakh units to customers in less than 10 months. The compact hatchback was launched last September and since then has won laurels for the Korean automaker. It features in the list of top five best selling cars in the country and has also won a few automotive awards including the prestigious Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY).
Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP, Marketing and Sales, HMIL said, “We appreciate and thank our customers for showing strong confidence in brand Hyundai and making Grand a huge success in India. Grand has created a benchmark in quality, features and technology offering higher value proposition in such a short span of time- fastest in the industry. The Grand follows Hyundai’s fluidic design philosophy which is evident on other models as well. It is positioned as a made-for-India compact car and is available in both petrol and diesel variants.
