Indian Auto industry posted accelerating sales figure for January 2011

The Indian auto industry has started the year on a good note in terms of sales. Here are the sales figures of 14 leading auto manufacturing established in Indian auto market who have posted accelerating sales figures.

Maruti Suzuki India still leading in the domestic auto sector by selling 109,743 car models rolled out in January 2011 which includes 9321 car models in export. When compared with the January 2010 sales figures MSI accounted to an increase of 14 per cent. Lets look at the individual sales of the car models: Maruti 800 1876 car models were sold, Maruti Alto the flagship model 33,118 car models were rolled out, Maruti Estilo settled for 3652 car models, Maruti Wagon R 14186 car models were rolled out, Maruti Swift Dzire 9771 car models were sold. Maruti SX4 2159 car models were rolled out, Maruti Swift, the popular hatchback 11353 car models were sold. Maruti Ritz 6046 car models were delivered, but only one model of Maruti Grande Vitara was sold.

Chevrolet also observed increase in its sales for January '11. Chevrolet rolled out 9,984 car models which was 9421 car models in January '10. Chevrolet car models individual sales as follows: Chevrolet Optra 296 models were rolled, Chevrolet Cruze 715 car models were sold, Chevrolet Aveo 240 car models were rolled out, Chevrolet UVA 331 models were rolled out. Chevrolet Tavera 1691 models were sold. Chevrolet Spark 3267 car models were sold, Chevrolet Beat 3338 units were sold and Chevrolet Captiva 91 models were delivered.

Tata Motors, the creators of some most the popular cars has seen the dawn again especially in the sales of Tata Nano. For the last month Tata Motors sold as many as 75423 car models in January '11 which was 65478 car models in January '10. Lets witness the sales of the respective car models Tata offers: Tata Nano which has risen again by selling 6703 car models, Tata Indica 10591 car models, Tata Indigo and Tata Manza 8456 car models were sold. Tata Sumo 2187 units were sold, Tata Aria 321 car models were sold, Tata Venture 158 units were sold.

Hyundai India Motors for being the 2nd largest auto mobile manufacturer observed a hike by 2.4 per cent in its sales in India against the January sales last year. However the Korean auto giant witnessed loss in its total sales due to decreasing export figures. Hyundai in India sold 43,316 car models for the last month out of which 30,306 car models were rolled in the Indian auto market and rest 13,010 car models were shipped. However, for January 2010, Hyundai India sold 29,601 car models were sold in India and 23,027 were shipped. Lets segregate the sales of its various car models individually Hyundai Santro 4.648 car models were rolled out, Hyundai i10 16,694 car models were rolled out, Hyundai i20 5,773 car models were rolled out, Hyundai Accent 1,317 models, Hyundai Verna 1,858 car models were sold, Hyundai Sonata 11 cars were sold and Hyundai Santa Fe 5 models were delivered.

Fiat the Italian car manufacturer sold 2174 car models in January 2011. Lets looks at the sales figures individually Fiat Linea 947 car models were sold, Fiat G Punto 1203 car models, and Fiat Palio 24 cars were delivered.

Ford Motors India sold 10026 car models. However the individual sales tells the story that it is due to the hatchback car model it have been climbing excellent sales figures. Ford Figo on one hand 8616 car models were sold but on the contrary Ford New Ikon none of the car model was sold. Ford Endeavour 351 car models were sold.

Mahindra India the SUV makers have again registered considerable sales by selling 16620 car models. Lets individually looks at the sales Mahindra Logan 1120 cars were sold, Mahindra Xylo 2733 models, Mahindra Scorpio 4304 rolled out, Mahindra Bolero 8463 were delivered.

Nissan another upcoming auto brand sold 1857 car models, here the maximum sales has been acquired by Nissan Micra as 1784 car models were rolled. Nissan X-Trail 52 car models were sold, Nissan Teana 21 car models were sold.

Porsche which comes under the super luxury car brands sold 25 models of its super luxury cars. Porche Panamera 2 car models were sold, Porsche 911 one model was sold, Porsche Cayman S one car, Porsche Boxster S one and Porsche Cayenne 20 models were sold.

Skoda Auto India the Czech Republic was able to post a sale of 2825 cars. Let individually introspect the sales of its each car model. Skoda Fabia 1460 car models were rolled, Skoda Laura 630 cars, Skoda Superb 391 and Skoda Yeti 344 car models were sold.

Toyota Motors the Japanese auto brand totally sold 9185 cars. Toyota Innova 5284 cars, Toyota Corolla P 490, Toyota D4D 649, Toyota Fortuner 1103 car models, Toyota Etios 1651 cars, Toyota Camry 3 cars, Toyota Prado 3 cars, Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Prius one each car model was sold.

Volkswagen the German auto mobile maker showcased sale of 5601 car sales. The company achieved the sales with its winning models the hatchback Volkswagen Polo by selling 3,023 car models and the mid sized sedan Volkswagen Vento by rolling out 2,308. Volkswagen Jetta 247, Volkswagen Beetle 20 car models, Volkswagen Passat 2 car models were rolled, Volkswagen Phaeton one car model was sold.

Volvo another luxury come sports car maker rolled out 39 car models for January 2011. Volvo S80 4 car models were sold, 26 car models Volvo XC60 and 9 car models of Volvo XC90.
