Jaguar Electric C-X75 unveiled

Jaguar, the English luxury car maker revealed its Jaguar Electric C-X75 sports car concept at the Paris Motor Show. This is a gas-electric hybrid model with the concept of two-seat sports car. This new model of Jaguar has got the capability of attaining the top speed of 205 miles per hour and also up to 68 miles of all-electric operation. The new electric C-X75 a range extended electric vehicle, meaning the model is primarily powered by electric motors and also by a battery pack but it has been provided with an extra range as well as performance by an external power source.
The gas turbines in the new jaguar Electric C-X75 get their power from a flow of combustion gas which include biofuels, diesel, compressed natural gas or LPG ( liquified petroleum gas). In fact, the new Jaguar C-X75 incorporates a 60-litre tank which is able to accommodate all these four fuels. This aforesaid fuel gets mixed with air and is then ignited to charge the batteries of the car for extending its range. On the other hand, the same could also be used for powering the electric motors directly for boosting performance.
Apart from these features, the new Jaguar Electric C-X75 also incorporates 2 micro gas-turbines which are able to spin at 80,000 rpm. These turbines have been developed in partnership with Baldon Jets. Later on, the energy which is created by turbines is stored in batteries which in turn power the 4 independent batteries.
