As the German luxury car makers are battling it out amongst each other by launching several new products in the Indian car market, Jaguar Land Rover on the other hand is growing faster than the trio.
The company began the assembly of the Jaguar XF and also introduced the 2.2-litre engine option this year. This alone has boosted the company’s current sales by 68%. The recent model launches from the company have been the all new Range Rover’s 3.0-litre diesel engine variant, the MY2013 Jaguar XF in February and now the company’s comeback sports car the F-TYPE.
Soon, we see the 3.0-litre supercharged petrol engine power the Jaguar XJ L and even the Range Rover Sport that is due to launch in September. The British marquee will soon surprise the world with its new entry-level car. Our sources confirm that the vehicle design has been finalised and the company is now busy testing this new car. This will compete with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4 and shall be the real volume seller for JLR, if they want to reach the top spot in sales.
