Ahead of its price announcement, the 2023 Seltos recently became the carmaker’s 1 millionth car to roll out from the Anantapur facility in India. It was the GT Line variant, identified by the all-black interior, finished in the new ‘Pewter Olive’ shade.

Kia India’s Production Synopsis
Out of the 10 lakh plus cars produced at the Kia Anantapur plant, over 7.5 lakh models were for domestic sales and nearly 2.5 lakh contributed to the carmaker’s exports. While the Seltos may have been responsible for over half of that milestone tally, the other models in the Kia India lineup have been quite popular too. Kia has manufactured over 3.3 lakh units of the Sonet subcompact SUV, 1.2 lakh units of the Carens MPV and a little over 14,500 units of the Carnival MPV.
Details Of The Seltos Facelift
While the Kia Seltos is a global model, we get an India-centric facelift and all the details have already been revealed. It will be sold in three broad variant lines: Tech (HT) Line, GT Line and X-Line. The compact SUV will be offered with key additional features over the outgoing Seltos’s equipment list.
We expect Kia to price the Seltos facelift from Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor and Maruti Grand Vitara.
