Many sports car manufacturers are on the car launching spree this year especially soon after the first Indian Grand Prix. First, the Ieading sports car manufacturer Ferrari, which is going to make its debut with the Ferrari FF super car in India on October 31st and now, another Italian sport car manufacturer, Lamborghini is gearing up to launch its new sports car Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. The new salvo is reported to be introduced on November 3rd , the new car is expected to fall in the price range of Rs 3.5 – Rs 4 crores.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 with its streamlined body structure exudes high power. It is known to be one of the best-selling cars from the auto major incorporating the leading edge technology adorning the monocoque design. Weighing mere 1,575 kg, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is an extremely light weight model which is the key attribute of a sports car. The car offers the four wheel drive layout and the powerful 6,498 cc V 12engine has the capacity to generate a peak power of 700 Bhp at 8,500 rpm and 690 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The speed of the car is comparable to a cheetah with a top speed of 300 kmph and an acceleration of 0-100 km in a 3 odd seconds.

Similar to the Ferrari FF car, The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is reported to be booked out for 2012 as the sports car manufacturer has shipped a limited number of units for India. Both the Italian sports car manufacturers have timed the launch perfectly. On another front, Lamborghini is expected to launch a new dealership in Mumbai to mark it as the second in the country. The luxury car brands are seeking their entrance in the country observing the increasing popularity for the luxury sportscars in India.
