Locally Assembled Range Rover Evoque Launched at Rs. 48.73 Lac

Land Rover has started the local assembly of Evoque at their plant in Pune. Prices have significantly gone down compared to earlier CBU (completely built units) import - Range Rover Evoque now starts from Rs. 48.73 Lacs, Ex-Showroom Mumbai (Pre-Octroi).
Competes majorly with Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60, Evoque was over priced earlier but now is a competitive product in-terms of pricing. Available in India in 3 and 5 door version, it is powered by both petrol and diesel engines. Currently, only diesel (2.2 Litre SD4 Diesel engine, delivering a maximum power output of 188 bhp @ 3,500 rpm and maximum torque of 420 Nm @ 2,000 rpm, mated to a 9-speed auto box) 5-door is locally assembled and is offered in three derivatives: Pure, Dynamic and Prestige.
Prices of 5-Door Land Rover Range Rover Evoque diesel - Ex-Showroom Mumbai are as follows:
- Range Rover Evoque SD4 Pure : Rs. 48.73 Lacs
- Range Rover Evoque SD4 Dynamic : Rs. 52.40 Lacs
- Range Rover Range Rover Evoque SD4 Prestige : Rs. 56.21 Lacs

Moreover, Land Rover has also recently revealed the Range Rover facelift at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and also revealed a convertible version of the Evoque!
