Mahindra Verito launched in Kerala

Ensuring a pan India presence, Mahindra has also launched its newly rechristened car, Mahindra Verito in the Kerala market recently. The company is said to be banking on Kerala as there is big potential market for cars and specially sedans in there. Ravindra Shahane, General Manager, Marketing, Automotive Division, Mahindra and Mahindra Limited also expressed a similar sentiment in his address to the media and invitees at the launch.

Mahindra also reportedly registered growth during the current financial year and hopes to double its market share in Kerala. The company is said to be banking on the new looks and value propositions of the Mahindra Verito, the erstwhile Mahindra Logan. Notably, Mahindra has recently given a new name to its model Mahindra Logan besides some key changes. Also, the Mahindra Vertio is still a best buy in the entry level sedan in India. The Mahindra Verito price in India is between Rs4.85 lakh petrol to Rs6.62 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.

Prior to this launch, Mahindra Logan has done well in Kerala in the last financial year 2010-11 and sales grew by 160 percent. The sales also reportedly doubled and in order to maintain the pace, Mahindra has specifically launched its new Mahindra Verito in Kerala. Besides being the best buy in the entry level sedan segment, Mahindra Verito has a variety of safety and technological features that have wooed Indian customers. Features such as ABS and EBD, air bags besides head restraints, good wheel base of 2630 mm and side impact beams and rich driver information system makes it among the best in the series cars. Among the Mahindra Verito rivals in India are Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Vento and Hyundai Accent which have also established themselves as much sought after sedan cars in India and have become some of the favorites in India.
