Mahindra has recalled a specific batch of its sub-4 metre SUV, the XUV300, for a possible issue related to its suspension. The recall is said to affect a limited batch of the XUV300 that were manufactured till 19 May, 2019. However, Mahindra has not mentioned the number of units that are affected by the recall.
As per the Indian carmaker, owners of the XUV300 affected by the recall will be contacted soon. Moreover, if a fault is detected, the company will replace the faulty part free of cost.

The XUV300 was launched in February this year and is currently priced between Rs 8.1 lakh and Rs 12.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is offered with either a 1.2-litre petrol engine or a 1.5-litre diesel unit. While the petrol unit is only offered with a 6-speed manual, the diesel version can be had with an AMT as well.

While there is no clarity on whether these cars can be driven in their current condition, we recommend that you find out if your vehicle falls under the recall as soon as possible. If it does, then do get it inspected at the earliest so as to keep your SUV in the best shape.
