Major auto dealer chains to enter in India

A series of car dealers from across the world which includes America’s largest auto retailer Auto Nation and UK-based multinational chain Inchcape are all set to enter in the Indian auto market which has been growing rapidly since last few years. Besides this major international dealership chains like the largest car dealer Saud Bahwan from Oman and Al-Futtaim Motors from UAE are already in talks with some of world's largest car manufacturer like Toyota, Honda, Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes to make their way through India.
The Indian auto industry is growing very well at present and with this growth a pool of opportunity is emerging in India. In this rapidly growing market automobile manufacturers are competing very hard by launching their new car models as well as upgrading their previously popular car models. According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), The Indian automobile industry will reach $145 billion in 2016, which was $34 billion in 2007. According to market analysts, the entrance of major retail dealerships in Indian market will provide a chance to car makers to focus on their new product development as the dealer will take car of distribution and service.
