With this addition, the service is now available in a total of 19 cities

  • The service is now available in Jaipur, Indore, Mangaluru, and Mysore as well.

  • Maruti has tied up with three service providers for the service: ORIX Auto, ALD Automotive, and Myles Automotive.

  • All NEXA and Arena models available, except the Alto, S-Presso, Celerio, and Eeco.

  • Cars are offered with either a white or a black number plate.

Maruti has added four more cities to its subscription module: Jaipur, Indore, Mangaluru, and Mysore, taking the total city count to 19. The carmaker has tied up with ORIX Auto, ALD Automotive, and Myles Automotive for this service.

Maruti Suzuki Subscribe was started in July 2020 in just two cities: Gurugram and Bengaluru and later expanded to more cities. It allows customers to opt from a range of vehicles (all NEXA and Arena models, save for the Alto, S-Presso, Celerio, and Eeco) for multiple tenure options, for an all-inclusive fixed monthly charge. This monthly payment includes usage charge, registration charge, maintenance, insurance, and other common services related to vehicle usage.

Under the subscription service, Maruti offers cars with either a white or a black number plate, with the following options:

Feature

White Number Plate

Black Number Plate

Registration

In the name of the customer

In the name of the subscription partner

Tenure

12, 24, 36, 48 months

12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, or 48 months

Annual km Options

10,000km, 15,000km, 20,000km, or 25,000km

10,000km, 15,000km, 18,000km, or 25,000km

The major difference between a car with a white and black number plate is that the former will be registered in the buyer’s name while the latter will be in the name of the subscription partner. In case of black number plate vehicles, additional entry charges will be applicable on crossing state borders and certain special zones.

Once the tenure is over, customers have the option of switching over to a new car or purchasing the subscribed car. Customers can also cancel the subscription at any given point.  Head here for the model-wise subscription plans.
