Maruti SX4, Dzire, Wagon R to be given to CWG medal winners

Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Haryana’s Chief Minister has recently made an announcement that all such players from Haryana who have represented the country at the recently held Commonwealth Games but were not able to gain any medal during these games, would be given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each. He further commented that it had been decided already that a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh, Rs 10 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, will be given to the players who will earn the gold medal, silver medal and the bronze medal respectively.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda told that fifty four sportspersons from the state of Haryana had participated in the recently held Commonwealth Games. These sportsperson from the state of Haryana successfully won thirty two medals. In all our country won one hundred and one medals in these Commonwealth games and out of these medals, 32 medals were won by players from Haryana. India won seventeen gold medals, seven silver medals and eight bronze medals.

Good news for all the medal winners is that the Maruti Udyog Limited has thought of a plan of offering cars to all the medal winners of Haryana. The company has decided that all those players who have won gold medals will get the Maruti SX4 model each. The largest passenger car manufacturer of India, Maruti has introduced a new version for its famous sedan named Maruti SX4 in India. The model complies with the recent BS IV emission norms. This latest version of the Maruti SX4 sedan incorporates a BS IV compliant petrol engine of a newer generation.

Similarly those players who have won the silver medals will get Maruti Swift Dzire for their achievement. And finally, those players who have won bronze medals will enjoy Maruti Wagon R. The Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda further said that a function of state-level will soon be held at Sonipat to celebrate Haryana Day. This day is celebrated on 1st of November. This time the celebration of this event will also witness the honoring of those players and other participants of Haryana who have performed well during the Commonwealth games and who have taken India to new heights of success.
