McLaren has officially revealed that the company has started rolling out the P1s from its assembly line. The production version of the supercar was first unveiled at the 83rd International Geneva Motor Show.
The vehicle is all ready to be delivered to its customers. The McLaren P1 is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 engine and an electronic motor that churns out 179bhp and 260Nm of top torque. The vehicle has the combined power output of 916bhp and 900Nm of top torque, which accelerates the vehicle to 100kmph from stand still in less than three seconds and attains an electronically limited top speed of 350kmph.
The production of the McLaren P1 will be limited to 375 units- a figure that will ensure that P1 will remain a rarity and, if spotted on the road, an unforgettable sight. McLaren has also announced that the car will cost from £866,000 on the road with a specification that fully equips the car for both road and track use.
